We believe that our lives are the evidence that we have been truly worshipping God. At Saginaw Family, worship is central to everything. Worship means learning to recognize God’s goodness while delighting to deepen in our responses to Him. 

It means purposing together, as individuals and as a community, to unite our actions, intentions, and emotions in loving response to God. 

We believe worship is lived out through the week, and as we gather on Sunday we bring songs of praise to the only One who is worthy of worship. 

We believe Scripture is relevant to our lives today, and that its teaching is the catalyst for transformation in an individual's life. Scripture is inspired by God, completely accurate and our authority regarding Christian beliefs and the guide for Christian living. 

We value Scripture—the Bible—as the basis for understanding who God is and how to orient our lives fully around Him. You can expect that each Sunday morning will include a set-aside time for hearing from Scripture, as well as practical teaching surrounding God's Word. 

We want to learn and grow from Scripture, therefore, our aim is never to be inspiring but to cultivate love for God, and for our neighbor as was given to Timothy, an early pastor in the New Testament (1 Timothy 1:3-7).
